THE URBAN EDGE TOUR
Come and see how wildlife and man co-exist in the new urban recreational paddling experience. Your tour begins with your professional instructor going over basic gear, paddling techniques and water safety. We then head out to explore the inlet accompanied by harbour seals and a host of bird life. We will explore the cobblestone beaches of Roche Point, the mud flats of the Wild Bird Sancturary and finally we paddle up the Seymour River Sanctuary to Sea to Sky's on river location.
Duration: 2 - 2.5 hours

THE CLASSIC
It's the Urban Edge Paddle plus. The Classic is a leisurely paced paddle experience that exposes you to all the sights and wildlife Burrard Inlet has to offer you. Your professional guide will introduce you to basic gear, paddling skills and water safety**. Our various destinations will include Boulder Island, Belcarra Bay, Roche Point, the Wild Bird Sanctuary and the Seymour River Estuary.

Cost: $79 plus GST
ESTUARY PADDLE (three hour tour $49)
Explore the diverse and sensitive ecosystem in the Squamish Estuary in a Voyageur Canoe, Sea or Whitewater Kayak with a qualified interpretative guide/instructor. Aquatic, plant, bird and animal life is investigated. Rare species, bears, hawks, eagles, trumpeter swans, and seals are just a few examples of life you may see and learn about. Elements of surprise and fun are in every new channel. Advance booking for this tour is necessary to take into consideration the changing tides/water levels and weather conditions.
VOYAGEUR CANOE EXPLORATION (two to six hour tour starting at $49)
Imagine yourself exporing new lands as the explorers did in the 1800's. Experience the thrill of moving water in a replica of the original Voyageur Canoe. Stop at points of interest to investigate basalt caves, waterfalls, animal tracks, or to view the seals and eagles. This trip takes you through majestic wilderness while feeling the speed and flow of the 22 foot boat slidng gracefully through the water.
CUSTOM TOURS
School groups, camps, organised groups, parties, and families of six or more can take advantage of our customized programs. These programs are designed to be flexible to meet the needs of different user groups. In some of our programs we can accommodate groups of up to 30 participants. Length of trip, educational content, group size, trip route and food are variables. Please contact us for or with ideas.
